What We Do

Service In Our Local Community. We care deeply about our community. The Deep River Rotary Club provides dictionaries for children at the Deep River Elementary School, supports our fire and ambulance services, offers a scholarship to a graduating high school senior, honors a Student of the Month, engages in the Valley Regional High School Interact Club and Backpack Program. We also raise money at Thanksgiving for our local food pantry, offer helping hands at the local Soup Kitchen, honor a Citizen of the Year and organize community events such as Tai Chi at the Deep River Landing  and Holiday Tree Decorating, as well as annual fundraisers like Oktoberfest.

  • Local Community Development
Deep River Rotary Club is instrumental in developing the overlook at the Deep River Landing, Keyboard Pond Park and Gazebo and the iconic Elephant statue located at the Town Hall, representing our town’s history.

Service Internationally. The Deep River Rotary Club continually supports water, health, education and agricultural projects around the world. With Chester and Essex Rotary Clubs, we support sister city projects in Haiti. Rotary has been a world leader in the effort to eradicate polio through the Polio Plus efforts of the Rotary Foundation.
